Direct Connection
The head can be linked directly to the controller with a network cable. The cable can be up to 100m long.
Connect over LAN
When more than one head is to be controlled they can be linked to the controller over a network. The controller and heads are simply plugged in as though they were another computer. If there is no network a ‘network switch’ can be used
Connect over LAN – multiple independent systems
Several systems can share the same network. The controller can be grouped with multiple heads, so those heads will only communicate with that controller. There is no risk of interference from other companies systems. If you use several controllers you can re-allocate heads to a chosen controller to suit your set-up.
Connect over Internet
Heads can be controlled over the internet in the same way as they can over a network. Though this is not recommended if high responsiveness is required as there is likely to be a slight delay in communications between the head and the controller.
